Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for a permanent Head Chef.

Our client is recruiting a Head Chef in a community setting (M/F/D) to support the development of their activity.
With initial training in cooking, your career has allowed you to hold the position of Head Chef or Sous Chef for at least 2 years.

You will be responsible for organising, managing and coordinating kitchen activities to ensure the quality of services.

The expected duties for this position:

• You will be in charge of preparing and making dishes according to recipes and quality standards (traditional Swiss and Neuchâtel cuisine)
• Develop tasty menus that combine tradition and modernity
• You have significant experience in production organisation (structure, team, hygiene)
• Place product orders and check the receipt of goods
• Optimise kitchen processes while respecting food safety standards.
• Manage stocks and carry out regular inventories
• Supervise and lead the kitchen team
• Team spirit, organisation and flexibility will be major assets for this position.
• Split shift 09:00-14:00 / 17:30-22:00
• You are flexible, motivated and organised

With initial training in cooking, your career has allowed you to hold the position of Head Chef or Sous Chef for at least 3 years.

Desired qualities:

• Professional Cook’s Certificate (CFC) or equivalent qualification
• Mastery of stock and order management
• You have significant experience in production organisation (structure, team, hygiene)
• Strict adherence to hygiene standards.
• Adaptability to specific or last-minute requests
• Ability to manage stress in the kitchen.
• Capacity to adapt to flexible hours, including weekends
• Vehicle essential
• Resident in the region
