Role:
As a Workplace Infrastructure Engineer, you ensure that end devices run securely, up-to-date, and smoothly. Your focus is on the Windows and mobile platform within a Microsoft 365 (M365) environment. Microsoft Intune is your most important tool. Instead of just processing tickets, you actively shape standards and automations. In this way, you sustainably shape the digital workplace.
Responsibilities:
You administer Intune for Android, Windows, and iOS devices and continuously expand device configurations and security policies.
You confidently manage update rings, feature and quality updates, as well as the entire patch management of clients.
You automate recurring workplace processes with PowerShell, such as assigning licences, permissions, and configurations during onboarding and offboarding.
Furthermore, you support the M365 services SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive and develop them purposefully.
You investigate errors in policies, deployments, and enrolment in 2nd and 3rd level support and permanently eliminate their causes.
Additionally, you implement migrations and lifecycle projects and refine technical standards and operational concepts.
Qualifications:
You have at least 3 years of experience in client, endpoint, or workplace engineering.
You are proficient in Windows 11 and Windows 10, as well as modern endpoint management with Intune.
You work confidently with device enrolment, MAM, MDM, and configuration profiles, as well as with Windows Autopilot for automated deployment.
You also have solid know-how in software packaging, endpoint security technologies, and update management.
An analytical mindset helps you quickly recognise connections between identity, security, and endpoint management.
Moreover, you work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, document comprehensibly, and communicate fluently in German as well as business proficiently in English.
