As a Metrology Technician in Test Equipment Management, you take on a versatile and responsible role in geometric metrology, ensuring reliable results through precise measurements, evaluations, and test reports.

Workplace: Burgdorf

Your Main Tasks

• Programming and operating Wenzel 3D measuring machines and Mahr Vision (optical & tactile)
• Evaluating and interpreting the obtained measurement results
• Documenting in the form of measurement and test reports
• Assisting with further calibrations in test equipment management
• Processing and maintaining test equipment data in the SAP system
• Preparing test equipment for upcoming calibrations
• Contact person for the evaluation of new test and measuring equipment as well as test strategies

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as a polymechanic EFZ or comparable technical education
• At least 3 years of professional experience with corresponding further training in the field of geometric metrology
• Good spatial imagination and the ability to translate technical drawings (2D) into measurement tasks for 3D measuring machines
• AUKOM Level 1 further training required, Level 2 advantageous
• Good Microsoft Office skills, experience with SAP advantageous
• Very good German skills (C1), English skills advantageous
