EXPERIENCED ARCHITECT (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced architect for project management in execution planning of demanding building projects. You will take on planning responsibility especially in residential construction and lead projects with high architectural and constructive quality requirements through to the realisation phase. The focus is on execution and detailed planning with ArchiCAD 3D, coordination of the involved disciplines, and direct communication with the client. The position is aimed at architects with solid Swiss execution experience who can independently manage projects both in planning and technically.


Responsibilities:

  • Project management of demanding residential and building projects in the execution phase

  • Responsibility for execution, working, and detailed planning up to construction implementation

  • Leadership and coordination of the internal architecture and planning team

  • Creation and quality assurance of 3D models and execution plans with ArchiCAD

  • Development and assessment of demanding construction, materialisation, and detailing solutions

  • Coordination of architecture, structural engineering, building services, and other specialist planning

  • Review and integration of specialist planner, contractor, and workshop plans

  • Ensuring compliance with SIA standards, Swiss building regulations, and project-specific quality requirements

  • Management of planning deadlines, plan deliveries, and technical interfaces

  • Direct coordination with clients, specialist planners, site management, and executing companies

  • Handling technical and planning issues during the realisation phase

  • Ensuring a high level of architectural and construction execution quality


Qualifications:

  • Completed architecture degree ETH/FH or comparable higher education

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in execution planning in a Swiss architectural office

  • Proven experience as project manager in residential construction

  • Solid knowledge in construction, execution planning, and detailing as well as relevant SIA standards

  • Very good and practical knowledge of ArchiCAD 3D

  • Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary planning teams and direct communication with clients

  • Good to very good German language skills spoken and written
