Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 125,000Role:
In this role, you will dive deep into the world of networks and IT security, applying your IT education to varied technical tasks. You will advise and support clients in the network environment, handle faults and support, thus actively contributing to stable and secure IT infrastructures. You will take responsibility in exciting projects where you will get to know various IT environments and master their technical challenges analytically and solution-oriented. Through direct contact with different system landscapes, you will expand your practical experience daily and build a broad, solid IT know-how. Additionally, you will continuously deepen your expertise through regular further training in the field of network and network security.
Responsibilities:
You plan, install, configure and maintain complex data networks including wireless, switching, routing, firewall, NAC and monitoring.
In this role, you operate and support client networks during ongoing operations.
You analyse faults in client networks and resolve them through structured troubleshooting.
As a network engineer, you create and maintain technical documentation and concepts.
You administer provider connections and ensure stable connectivity of client systems.
In this role, you conduct lab work to test new hardware and features and use these for your own further training.
Qualifications:
You have completed a technical education in the IT field.
You are flexible regarding work environment and working hours and are willing to work outside regular hours if needed.
You act clearly customer-oriented and present yourself professionally in direct customer contact.
You have further training or certifications in the field of network and/or IT security and ideally experience with products such as Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, HPE Aruba, Fortinet or in network automation (e.g. Python, Ansible, Puppet).
You hold a category B driving licence.
You communicate fluently in German and very well in English, both spoken and written.
