About the job
The Directorate of Technology and Innovation is responsible for technology management of ICT and medical technology. Medical technology, as part of the Directorate of Technology and Innovation, is responsible for the professional planning, evaluation, procurement, maintenance, and decommissioning of medical technology devices. It assesses medical technology technologies and devices and documents the equipment inventory.
What to expect
As an apprentice electronics technician, you will take care of quality control and material management. This includes measurements, tests, maintenance work, and commissioning of various devices and systems. You will gain insight into different electronics specialist groups. You will learn the service business, carry out orders and assignments. The first two years of your basic training are completed at the ICT Vocational Training Centre AG in Bümpliz. In the 3rd and 4th year of apprenticeship, you will deepen your acquired skills in medical technology at the Inselspital. Here we offer you a wealth of coordination and communication tasks. In doing so, you will acquire modern, technological, and professional know-how.
