Agroscope is the Confederation's centre of expertise for research in the fields of agriculture and the food sector. Researchers carry out their activities at various sites in Switzerland. The main headquarters is located in Bern-Liebefeld (from 2026: Posieux FR). Agroscope is affiliated with the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research EAER.

Additional information

The Finance division manages Agroscope's accounting, advises and supports researchers, specialised areas and the management committee on financial and business management issues, in particular by providing relevant information for decision-making. It is also responsible for the process and controlling of projects funded by third parties.
