Scheuchzer SA specialises in mechanised maintenance of railway tracks. Since 1947, we have been designing, building, operating and maintaining our own machines to meet the requirements of railway networks in Switzerland and Europe.

To strengthen our department, we are looking for a:

Your mission

Integrated into the Finance & Controlling team, you contribute to monitoring the company’s performance and actively participate in the department’s activities.

You will notably be responsible for:

• Participating in the preparation of financial and operational reports as well as budget monitoring;
• Conducting financial analyses, profitability calculations and analysing variances and costs;
• Contributing to the preparation of quarterly and annual closings and ensuring data quality;
• Participating in the development and improvement of dashboards and reporting tools;
• Contributing to the automation and optimisation of controlling processes.

Your profile

• You are studying for or hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences in business administration, management, finance, controlling or an equivalent qualification;
• Ideally, you have some initial experience in finance, controlling, accounting or auditing;
• You have excellent command of Microsoft Excel and are comfortable with data analysis and key financial statements;
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, SAP and/or Python is an asset;
• You are recognised for your analytical mind, rigour, autonomy and ability to synthesise;
• You enjoy teamwork and demonstrate reliability and discretion;
• You have a perfect command of French; knowledge of German is an asset.
