Network & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to operate powerful IT infrastructures, optimise security solutions, and reliably connect international systems? In this role, you take responsibility for complex network and data centre environments and contribute to the further development of modern cloud services. Your technical know-how helps provide stable and secure IT platforms for demanding business processes.
Responsibilities:
Operation, monitoring, and continuous optimisation of a global network infrastructure at various company locations.
Administration and further development of network components, security systems, and technical protection mechanisms.
Support and expansion of data centre environments as well as hybrid platforms based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
Creation and updating of technical architectures, operational concepts, and infrastructure documentation.
Support of 1st and 2nd level support, participation in infrastructure projects, and taking on on-call and maintenance duties.
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or a comparable technical qualification.
Several years of practical experience in operating and further developing network and IT infrastructures, ideally in an international environment.
Sound knowledge of network technologies, IT security, and common data centre solutions.
Experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing technical infrastructure projects.
Analytical and independent working style, strong team and service orientation, very good German and English skills, and willingness to undertake on-call duties, occasional weekend work, and international travel.
