In this versatile role, you act as an important HR interface between the University Hospital Zurich and the University of Zurich. You independently manage a defined organisational area, advise employees and managers on operational HR matters, and ensure reliable coordination of HR processes between both institutions. Among other things, you take on the following tasks:

Your main tasks
- Comprehensive advice and support for employees and managers on a variety of HR issues throughout the entire employee lifecycle
- Independent handling of complex personnel cases in close cooperation with managers and HR Business Partners
- Responsibility for professional personnel administration – from hiring and contract extensions to changes in function and employment level, as well as terminations and resignations
- Review and preparation of personnel measures and changes via digital HR workflows, as well as coordination of further processing with personnel administration
- Ensuring careful and reliable maintenance and updating of personnel master data
- Obtaining and coordinating work and residence permits, as well as advising on the employment of persons from third countries
- Preparation of work references and other personnel-related documents and confirmations
- Professional support and assistance to decentralised HR staff within the supported organisational units and HR pools
- Participation in HR projects as well as active shaping and further development of HR processes and services
- Support for employees and managers in using digital HR processes and systems, as well as promoting efficient and service-oriented HR work
Your profile
- Completed further training in HR, ideally as an HR specialist with a federal certificate or a comparable qualification at university level (e.g. BSc, CAS)
- Solid experience in personnel administration and confidence in handling various HR processes and complex personnel cases
- Strong advisory and communication skills as well as a confident and professional demeanour
- Independent, structured and careful working style with high quality awareness and pronounced reliability
- Enjoyment of working with diverse stakeholders as well as an empathetic and service-oriented personality
- Negotiation skills and the ability to act solution-oriented and reliably even in demanding situations
- High discretion and a responsible approach to confidential information
- Strong digital affinity and interest in modern HR systems and digital processes
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, as well as good English skills
