Hardware / Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 125,000Role:
Our ROCKEN partner is a respected Swiss company specialising in the manufacture of highly precise rotary encoders and angle sensors. These sensors are used in a wide range of industries, including industry, medical technology, aviation and more. The company’s products are known for their exceptional precision and quality and meet the highest standards in angle measurement.
Your mission is to further enhance the precision and quality of the products to meet the challenges of customers in a rapidly evolving world.
Responsibilities:
- Independent development of electronic and microcontroller circuits within a 20-member development team
- Programming in C/C++ and VHDL for the developed circuits
- Responsible layout design of the circuits using Altium Designer
- Balancing hardware and software development in your role
- Focus on customer-specific projects in various industries and applications
- Close collaboration with the customers’ technical contacts
- Managing the "diversity of digitalisation" by implementing new technologies, bus systems and interfaces
Qualifications:
- Completed engineering degree (FH/ETH/TU) in electrical or microtechnology
- Solid knowledge in hardware and layout design of electronic circuits
- Excellent software skills in C/C++ programming
- Preferably several years of experience as a development engineer for embedded hardware and software
- Additional qualifications in various bus systems as well as EMC and CE are advantageous
- Strong team spirit and passion for development with high commitment
- Goal-oriented, methodical and precise working style
- Ideally German as a native language
- Good English skills
