Good infrastructure only becomes noticeable when it doesn’t work. As a System Engineer (Junior), you ensure that server systems, clients, and networks run stably and securely for various customers. You will work with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 (M365) and continuously expand your know-how in cloud technologies. Experienced colleagues will support you, giving you space to gradually take on more responsibility.
Responsibilities:
You install, patch, and monitor server systems based on Windows Server and virtualised environments with Hyper-V or VMware.
You set up workstations, distribute software, and manage end devices with Intune.
Furthermore, you take over user and rights management in Active Directory and Entra ID.
In first and second level support, you analyse faults and resolve tickets in a structured manner.
You maintain the technical documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.
Additionally, you comprehensively manage your customers’ IT infrastructure, from LAN and WLAN to backup solutions.
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or a comparable basic education.
You have very good knowledge in operating client/server infrastructures in the Microsoft environment.
Network basics such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs are familiar to you in LAN and WLAN environments.
You can demonstrate initial experience with cloud solutions such as Microsoft 365 or Azure.
Furthermore, you work reliably, communicate clearly, and enjoy contributing in a team.
