Project Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Building Construction for the independent realisation of demanding new build and renovation projects in residential, administrative and commercial construction. You will take on tasks in project management, site management and construction administration and accompany the construction projects from tendering and awarding to acceptance and handover. As a central interface, you coordinate clients, authorities, architects, specialist planners, experts and contractors. You are particularly responsible for costs, deadlines, quality and tenders and ensure a structured project execution.
Responsibilities:
Independent project and site management of new build and renovation projects in residential, administrative and commercial construction
Coordination of interfaces between clients, authorities, architects, specialist planners, experts and contractors
Preparation and ongoing monitoring of cost estimates, cost forecasts, schedules and construction programmes
Development of specifications, quotations and tender documents for various trades
Conducting tenders, offer comparisons and award negotiations as well as preparation of award proposals
Leadership and coordination of contractors and specialist planners during the execution and realisation phase
Leading construction, planning and coordination meetings including minute-taking and action management
Responsibility for construction administration including contracts, change orders, measurements, extra work and invoice verification
Monitoring of costs, deadlines, execution quality and occupational safety on the supervised construction sites
Conducting negotiations and technical clarifications with authorities, contractors and other project participants
Ensuring professional execution in accordance with SIA standards, contracts, execution plans and official requirements
Organisation of acceptances, defect management, commissioning and handover of buildings including final documentation
Qualifications:
Training as a draftsperson EFZ specialising in architecture with further education in site management, technician HF building construction, architect FH or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in project and/or site management of building construction projects in Switzerland
Practical experience in residential, administrative or commercial construction as well as in new build and renovation projects
Sound knowledge of cost planning, tendering, awarding, scheduling and construction administration
Experience with contracts, change order management, measurements and invoice verification
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
Confident use of industry-standard construction administration, cost and scheduling software
