Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a specialist as Project Manager in Transport Planning / Traffic Engineering to handle and lead diverse mobility and transport infrastructure projects. You will develop traffic analyses, overall traffic concepts as well as operational and design concepts for road spaces, public squares and traffic nodes. In addition to professional project work, you will design traffic management and mobility solutions and support decision-making processes with municipalities, authorities and other project participants. The position combines analytical transport planning with conceptual project work and the design of future-proof traffic and mobility systems.
Responsibilities:
Independent management and handling of projects in transport planning and traffic engineering
Conducting traffic analyses, traffic surveys and traffic engineering studies as a basis for planning decisions
Development of overall traffic, mobility and access concepts for municipalities, sites and infrastructure projects
Preparation of operational and design concepts (BGK) for road spaces, public squares and traffic nodes
Planning and assessment of solutions for motorised individual traffic, public transport as well as pedestrian and bicycle traffic
Design of traffic management measures to optimise traffic flows, capacities and traffic control
Conducting performance and capacity analyses for nodes, road sections and traffic networks
Preparation of variant studies and feasibility investigations as well as evaluation according to traffic, spatial and economic criteria
Coordination with municipalities, cantons, clients, spatial planners and other specialist disciplines
Preparation, leadership and moderation of workshops, specialist events and project meetings
Creation of traffic reports, technical reports, decision bases and presentations
Support of projects taking into account relevant VSS standards, SIA processes and Swiss traffic regulations
Qualifications:
Completed studies in transport planning, civil engineering or spatial planning FH/ETH or a related university education
Professional experience in transport planning or traffic engineering is an advantage
Knowledge in traffic analyses, overall traffic concepts as well as operational and design concepts
Expertise in MIV, public transport as well as pedestrian and bicycle traffic
Knowledge of relevant VSS standards and Swiss planning processes
Experience with industry-standard GIS, transport planning or simulation software is an advantage
Very good German skills spoken and written
