Medical Practice Assistant / FaGe

The University Clinic for Gynaecology at the Inselspital Bern is a leading, nationally and internationally recognised medical centre for gynaecology. Our services cover all areas of gynaecology and obstetrics. In our outpatient clinic for ultrasound and prenatal diagnostics, sonographies, invasive diagnostics and therapies are performed.

What to expect

• Take on versatile tasks at reception and in the back office
• Planning, coordination and organisation of consultations and related processes
• Ensuring smooth patient contact and administrative processes
• Assistance with invasive procedures and support of the medical team
• Performing blood draws and other diagnostic activities

What you bring

• Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ
• You are highly organised and enjoy contact with expectant parents
• You appreciate the lively and varied environment of a university clinic
• Good German skills and, ideally, additional language skills
• Confident PC skills and enjoyment of administrative tasks as well as patient contact
• Professional knowledge in gynaecology / obstetrics is an advantage but not a requirement
• You are willing to cover holiday shifts and work a correspondingly higher workload
