On behalf of an innovative industrial company operating in a high-tech environment, located in Biel, we are looking for a R&D Engineer Silicon Microfabrication passionate about advanced manufacturing processes and cutting-edge technologies. This role will allow you to contribute directly to the development of innovative solutions within a recognised research and development department.
You will be responsible for identifying, developing and deploying innovative technological solutions related to microfabrication and silicon technologies. In close collaboration with various internal and external partners, you will participate in strategic projects that have a direct impact on future generations of products and industrial processes.
Your responsibilities
- Design and implement applied research and development projects in the field of silicon technologies and innovative processes.
- Lead multidisciplinary projects in collaboration with R&D, industrialisation, production, quality and industrial logistics teams.
- Collaborate with research institutes, universities and industrial partners to develop new technological approaches.
- Document the work carried out and present the results to the various stakeholders.
- Conduct active technological and scientific monitoring to identify innovations with potential for the precision industry.
- Participate in the evaluation, testing and integration of new technologies into existing processes.
Your profile
- HES Engineer degree, EPF or equivalent training in physics, microtechnology or related field.
- An advanced specialisation or a doctorate is an asset.
- Proven experience in microfabrication processes, advanced measurement techniques or innovative technologies, ideally in a cleanroom environment.
- Experience in managing technical projects in an industrial environment.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills.
- Autonomous, rigorous and organised personality, capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
- Initiative, scientific curiosity and a strong taste for innovation.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
