Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Civil Engineer Specialised in Deep Foundation Engineering for demanding building projects with complex geotechnical and structural engineering requirements. You will take professional responsibility for excavations, foundations and other specialised deep foundation measures and accompany these from conception through calculation and tendering to execution. As a sub-project manager, you will work closely with structural engineers, architects and other specialists to develop technically convincing, economical and feasible solutions.
Responsibilities:
Professional and conceptual advice to project teams in deep foundation engineering
Sub-project management for excavations, foundations and geotechnically demanding structures
Development of foundation and excavation concepts for demanding building projects
Structural engineering processing and dimensioning of specialised deep foundation solutions
Preparation of structural calculations and technical verifications
Planning of excavation closures, anchors, bracings and foundations
Development of construction-ready building projects through the relevant project phases
Preparation and plausibility checks of phase-appropriate cost estimates
Preparation of tender and submission documents
Professional management of the creation of execution plans and digital models
Coordination with structural engineering, geotechnics, architecture and other disciplines
Technical review of contractor solutions and execution documents
Conducting construction inspections and quality checks
Assuming technical construction management in deep foundation engineering with appropriate experience
Participation in competitions and demanding interdisciplinary planning projects
Qualifications:
Completed university degree as Civil Engineer ETH/FH/TU
Several years of professional experience in deep foundation engineering, civil engineering or structural engineering with a geotechnical focus
Sound knowledge in structural analysis and constructive civil engineering
Experience in planning excavations and foundations
Knowledge in preparing calculations, cost estimates and submissions
Experience in sub-project or project management is an advantage
Interest in innovative construction methods, digital planning methods and technological developments
Structured and efficient working style with strong organisational skills
Assertive and communicative personality
Fluent German language skills; French and/or English skills are an advantage
