Role:
You like to keep things running and ensure that complex applications function reliably and continue to develop. In this role, you take responsibility for the stable operation of OSS/BSS systems and ensure they are always available with high performance. With your technical understanding and analytical thinking, you detect faults early and help to resolve them efficiently. Thanks to your high quality awareness, you continuously optimise existing applications and ensure smooth operation.
Responsibilities:
You are the point of contact for complex 2nd-level tickets for our central systems and analyse, resolve and document them
In this role, you escalate deeper problems to problem or service incident management
As an Application Manager, you respond to fault reports from our monitoring system, identify causes and restore operation
You share your knowledge within the team and keep documentation up to date
In this role, you work closely with 1st and 3rd level support
As the application owner, you ensure timely information of all parties involved in critical situations and actively participate in exciting projects
Qualifications:
- You have completed training in computer science or a comparable qualification
- You have completed or are currently completing a higher technical college education
- Ideally, you have initial experience in application analysis, reading logs (e.g. with Splunk) and system monitoring (e.g. with Zabbix)
- You bring basic knowledge of software development, preferably in the .NET environment or with MS SQL Server or other relational databases
- You are curious, want to develop further and approach routine tasks with commitment
- You are willing to perform on-call duty and have very good German skills as well as good English skills
