Network Engineer Cisco (m/f/d)
Our partner offers WLAN and Network Access Control solutions and software development. The strengths of our ROCKEN partner are the evaluation, planning, implementation as well as the operation and support of WLAN and Network Access Control solutions.
Role:
Modern corporate networks are the backbone of successful digitalisation projects. We are looking for a personality who designs, further develops, and ensures the highest availability of powerful network environments with innovative technologies.
Responsibilities:
Planning, building, and continuous optimisation of complex Cisco network infrastructures
Operation and further development of LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments
Implementation of modern network architectures including Software Defined Networking (SDN)
Configuration and administration of Cisco switching, routing, and security solutions
Introduction and support of network automation with Ansible, Python or comparable technologies
Analysis and resolution of complex network faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
Collaboration on infrastructure, cloud, and data centre projects
Optimisation of performance, availability, and network security
Creation of technical concepts and documentation
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as a network engineer or network specialist
Very solid knowledge in the Cisco environment
Experience with routing, switching, VLAN, BGP, OSPF and firewall technologies
Knowledge in network automation and infrastructure as code is an advantage
Analytical and solution-oriented working style
Interest in modern network and cloud technologies
