Responsibilities:
- As the person responsible for the further development of the complex and interconnected network security platforms, you ensure their continuous optimisation.
- You assist in the creation of decision-making bases for the introduction of new security components and work closely with the technical project management.
- You implement SLA/OLA requirements and ensure that operational quality and availability are always guaranteed.
- You are responsible for the operational implementation of intervention management in the systems and facilities of the specialist department.
- In the event of a fault, you take over the 2nd-level support/on-call service and are responsible for the standby service.
Qualifications:
- Completed training in IT/computer science as well as relevant professional experience are prerequisites.
- You are a communicative personality who feels comfortable in a team and has the ability to approach people.
- Your interest in new technologies motivates you to continuously develop yourself and learn new areas.
- Sound knowledge of networks and firewalls, as well as log analysis and network troubleshooting are expected for this position.
- You have already gained experience with NAC, RAS, IPS, and SIEM systems in your career.
- Experience in security engineering, in-depth knowledge of other security platforms, and working in larger zone environments are important.
- Fluent German skills as well as good English skills are required.
