Geomatics Technician (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF80,000 - 85,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a specialist in geomatics, surveying and technical plan processing to support diverse planning and infrastructure projects. You will process surveying and geodata, create precise CAD plans, and assist with the recording and documentation of buildings, land parcels and infrastructure facilities. This role combines fieldwork with the digital processing and maintenance of geodata and plan documents in the office. The position offers a varied field of activity between surveying, CAD, GIS and technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
Conducting and supporting surveying and field measurements for construction, infrastructure and planning projects
Evaluation, preparation and further processing of measurement, geo and project data
Creation and updating of site, utility, inventory and project plans
Processing technical plan documents with CAD systems and ensuring precise plan representation
Recording, maintenance and quality assurance of GIS and geodata as well as digital plan inventories
Conducting construction surveys, staking out and control measurements in collaboration with project managers
Preparation of foundations for project planning, design and construction execution
Taking over and checking inventory and revision data after completion of construction work
Structured management of plan, surveying and project documentation
Supporting project management with technical clarifications, data analyses and plan revisions
Contributing to the further development of digital surveying, CAD and GIS processes
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a Geomatics Technician EFZ, Draftsperson EFZ or comparable technical basic training
Professional experience in geomatics, surveying, construction planning or technical plan processing is an advantage
Good user knowledge of CAD systems and handling digital plan documents
Knowledge of GIS, geodata processing and surveying technology is an advantage
Confident handling of measurement, plan and project data as well as technical documentation
Good user knowledge of Microsoft 365
Good German language skills, spoken and written
