Role:

On behalf of a client, we are seeking a qualified professional for the development, planning and realisation of demanding architectural projects within an established Swiss architectural environment. You will handle diverse new build, conversion and transformation projects from the initial concept idea through to project planning and construction implementation. The focus is on architectural design, sustainable building concepts, interdisciplinary planning and quality-oriented project development, taking into account social, ecological and economic requirements. Depending on your professional experience, you will take on independent planning tasks or project responsibility across several SIA phases and actively shape future-proof architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Development and elaboration of architectural designs and design concepts for demanding new build, conversion and transformation projects

• Processing feasibility studies, project studies and variant analyses considering usage, cost-effectiveness and sustainability

• Independent project planning and design of building projects across relevant SIA phases from preliminary study to realisation

• Creation of design, construction, approval and execution plans using suitable CAD and BIM applications

• Development of sustainable architecture and materialisation concepts considering resource efficiency, energy consumption and life cycle costs

• Development and review of constructive detail solutions as well as coordination of building construction, materialisation and technical feasibility

• Coordination with clients, authorities, specialist planners and contractors during planning and project execution

• Participation in the professional coordination of interdisciplinary planning teams from architecture, structural engineering, building services and other disciplines

• Support with cost estimates, scheduling and project controlling to ensure economical and timely project processing

• Preparation of competition entries, project presentations and decision-making bases for clients and other project participants

• Quality assurance of planning documents considering applicable SIA standards, building regulations and project-specific requirements

• Technical support during execution planning and realisation including plan coordination, execution clarifications and constructive optimisations

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies at ETH/FH (Bachelor or Master) or comparable recognised training in architecture

• Professional experience in architectural planning and project development, ideally in Swiss building construction and across several SIA project phases

• Solid knowledge in design, project planning, building construction and architectural detail planning

• Knowledge of sustainable construction methods, resource-saving materials and energy-efficient building concepts

• Confident use of common CAD and BIM software, such as Archicad, Revit or Vectorworks, as well as digital presentation tools

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations and planning processes as well as experience in interdisciplinary specialist planning

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for project documents, technical documentation and planning coordination
