Informatics Schaffhausen (ITSH) shapes the digital future of the Canton of Schaffhausen together with around 80 employees. As the central IT partner for the canton, city and municipalities, we develop and operate innovative digital services, provide comprehensive advice to our customers and ensure a secure, modern and reliable IT operation.

For the newly established team "Standards & Quality" we are filling a strategic key position with direct contact to the management. In this position, you are responsible for the information security of ITSH. You advise the management as well as our customers as a central expert and actively help shape the development of the team.

We are looking for you to start immediately or by arrangement as

ICT Security Officer (m/f), 80-100 %

• Responsibility for the ICT security strategy of ITSH and its alignment with existing strategies
• Establishment, operation and further development of the ISMS based on recognised standards (ISO 27001, ICT minimum standard, CIS Controls etc.)
• Advice, awareness-raising and training of management as well as customers as the central contact person for information security and data protection including the establishment of a consulting service
• Responsibility for IT risk management and control of security audits with regular reporting to management
• Embedding "Security by Design" in projects and procurement

• Several years of experience in a comparable strategic role (CISO, ICT SIBE), ideally in the public sector or at an IT service provider
• Completed studies or equivalent education/training with a focus on information security
• Profound knowledge of security frameworks and ISMS as well as experience with regulatory and data protection requirements
• Solid understanding of modern ICT architectures and technologies (on-premises and cloud, especially Microsoft)
• Confident manner with strong communication skills and the ability to position information security as an enabler
