Senior IT Auditor - Data Analysis
Your responsibilities include:
- Development and implementation of data-driven audit approaches (Continuous Auditing, Continuous Monitoring)
- Establishment and maintenance of automated audit analytics routines (SQL, Power BI) as well as integration into existing audit processes
- Independent execution of quantitative data analyses to identify anomalies, patterns and control weaknesses in transaction and risk data
- Independent planning, execution and documentation of IT audits in all business areas of the bank with a focus on processes, risks, cost-effectiveness, governance and compliance
- Assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system (ICS) as well as risk management processes
- Preparation of audit reports and presentation of results to management and the audit committee as well as monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations
- Participation in the further development of the audit strategy and internal control systems
- Advising departments on regulatory requirements and best practices
What convinces us:
- Completed studies in Data Science, Business Informatics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance or a comparable field (FH/University)
- Further training as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), CISA or comparable qualification is an advantage
- Proven knowledge in data analysis and modelling, sound knowledge of BI tools as well as IT governance
- Strong analytical skills and experience in risk assessment
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Professional experience in a bank or financial institution is an advantage
- Very good German skills, solid English skills in spoken and written form
