Sales Consultant PDM (m/f/d)

Do you want to apply your experience in technical sales purposefully and support customers in selecting innovative software solutions? In this varied position, you advise companies from the fields of industry, architecture and geoinformation and accompany them in the introduction of suitable CAD, CAM, BIM and PDM solutions.
Your tasks include analysing customer requirements, developing individual solution concepts and creating and presenting convincing offers. The needs of the customers are always the focus.
You act as a competent contact person with strong communication and consulting skills and have sound knowledge in the environment of CAD, CAM, BIM and PDM systems. Together with a specialised expert team, you develop sustainable and future-oriented solutions and actively contribute to the company’s success.
Responsibilities:
- You support new and existing customers in the mechanical engineering sector from the initial analysis to successful project completion
- In this role, you develop your own sales strategy and manage the entire sales process
- As a Sales Consultant CAD/PDM, you independently or in cooperation with technical experts present complex solution concepts and offers
- You identify cross- and up-selling potentials and monitor market trends and competitors
- You maintain customer data and project progress in the CRM system and organise demo appointments
- In your function, you ensure participation in trade fairs and events and act as the central contact person
Qualifications:
- You have completed a commercial or technical apprenticeship
- You bring sound knowledge in the CAD and PDM environment
- You have experience in active sales of capital goods, ideally in licence sales
- You can convincingly present complex solutions and build long-term customer relationships
- You possess high self-motivation, self-organisation and team spirit as well as a willingness for continuous further training
- You have very good German and good English skills as well as proficient use of MS Office, Windows and CRM systems
