Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for client representation and real estate project management of demanding construction projects. You lead and manage projects from project development to commissioning, consistently representing the interests of the client. The focus is on compliance with quality, costs, deadlines, and approved project budgets as well as the professional management of internal and external planning teams. An important role is also played by public procurement according to IVöB, sustainable construction, and digital planning processes.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for client representation in small to large new build, renovation, and maintenance projects
Management and control of projects from project development and planning to realisation and commissioning
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality, and project risks as well as monitoring approved project budgets
Development of project definitions, project bases, and decision-making foundations together with user representatives and internal stakeholders
Leadership and coordination of architects, general planners, specialist planners, site managers, and other external partners
Planning and support of tenders, award procedures, and procurements according to IVöB
Management of planning processes considering relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
Assessment of architectural concepts, feasibility, and project variants regarding functionality, cost-effectiveness, and building culture
Integration of sustainability, energy, and lifecycle aspects into project development and project management
Management and quality assurance of digital planning and construction processes, especially in the BIM environment
Preparation of project status reports, cost forecasts, schedule controls, and decision proposals
Ensuring a coordinated handover and commissioning of the completed construction projects
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Architect ETH/FH or comparable higher education in construction
Several years of professional experience in construction and real estate project management, ideally on the client side
Solid experience in project management across several SIA phases as well as cost, schedule, and quality management
Knowledge of public procurement according to IVöB and award procedures is an advantage
In-depth knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
Experience with digital planning and construction processes / BIM as well as knowledge in sustainable construction
Very good German language skills spoken and written
