VIP Catering Head Chef - Canonica SA
The Swiss companies of the Swisscanonica Group operate numerous outlets in airports in Switzerland and abroad, including catering points, bars, shops and chocolate boutiques. These companies are also active in catering and laundry services. Additionally, they run a hotel in Cham (Zug) as well as a production laboratory in Vernier.
You will be responsible for producing refined and creative cuisine, aimed at a discerning clientele in the field of private aviation. You will ensure a consistent level of excellence, from menu design to the final presentation of services.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design creative menus in accordance with the company’s gastronomic standards.
- Supervise the entire culinary production.
- Lead, train and motivate kitchen teams.
- Ensure the quality, consistency and presentation of services.
- Manage orders, stock and food costs.
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure the smooth running of VIP Catering activities.
- Be proactive in developing new culinary offerings.
YOUR PROFILE
- Professional training in cooking: Federal VET Diploma, Professional Baccalaureate or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef.
- Experience in high-end catering, luxury hospitality, gourmet restaurants or a similar environment.
- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Strong organisational skills, responsiveness and ability to handle pressure related to events.
- Creativity, high standards and constant attention to detail.
- Flexible working hours: evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the activity.
