Role:
Stable systems do not arise by themselves. In this position as Virtualisation & Network Engineer, you set up IT infrastructures, keep them running, and ensure that customers can rely on their technology. Between virtualisation, server administration, and network technology, it rarely gets boring. Direct contact with customers is just as important as clean implementation in the background.
Responsibilities:
You set up IT systems, configure them, and ensure secure ongoing operation
You systematically investigate disruptions and eliminate the cause
You regularly check systems and derive optimisations
Additionally, you advise customers from needs analysis to the appropriate solution
You handle IT-related enquiries and bring them to completion
You also keep systems well documented and perform project-related administration
Qualifications:
You have a qualification as an IT specialist EFZ or something equivalent
You bring solid knowledge of networks, server operation, virtualisation, and IT security
You command English at a level suitable for everyday work
You quickly understand complex situations and find pragmatic solutions
Furthermore, you enjoy working in a team, are proactive, and address issues openly
You keep your expertise up to date; a category B driving licence is a plus
