The Les Buissonnets Foundation has been welcoming children and adults with disabilities for over 60 years in its two Home-schools (HER and Schulheim), the Home Workshop for adults (Homato), the Physio-ergotherapy Service and the itinerant Educational Service (SEI) of the canton of Fribourg.

Due to the departure of the management of the Romand Home-School (HER), we are looking for a person matching the following profile:

Your mission :

• Operational and pedagogical-therapeutic management of a specialised school and a living place for pupils aged between 4 and 18 years with disabilities.
• Responsibility for human, financial and material resources of the HER, in collaboration with the general secretariat of the Les Buissonnets Foundation.
• Responsibility for teaching and pedagogical and therapeutic activities of the HER (organisation of classes, distribution of pupils, pupil follow-up, etc.).
• Ensure communication with partners and internal and external stakeholders of the HER, in collaboration with the general secretariat of the Les Buissonnets Foundation.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the strategy of the Les Buissonnets Foundation and the HER, in collaboration with the Foundation and its other institutions.

Profile sought :

• University degree in the field of specialised pedagogy or equivalent qualification.
• CAS/DAS in management of social institutions.
• At least five years of experience in specialised teaching.
• Solid experience in management, project management, staff leadership and financial management (planning, budgeting, etc.).
• Excellent social and communication skills, ability to manage complex situations. Innovative spirit, ability to participate in the strategy of the Foundation and the HER, in collaboration with the Foundation and its other institutions.
• Native French speaker, with very good knowledge of German (min. level B2).

Place of work: Fribourg

Start date: 1 January 2027 or to be agreed

Duration of employment: Indefinite
