Senior Backend Software Engineer

Our client in Lucerne is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer for a long-term temporary project in the insurance sector.

Overview:

Start: asap
Duration: until the end of 2027 (extension possible)
Location: Lucerne
Hybrid project: 2-3 days on site (team day mandatory), 2-3 days home office

Requirements:

• Motivated and committed to further developing the architecture of the client’s core applications with a lot of initiative and drive (architectural thinking is also welcome)
• Willingness to engage with the subject matter and acquire the necessary expertise
• Several years of experience in the health insurance sector and specifically a good understanding of cost approvals and claims processing is an advantage

Professional and Methodological Competence

• Several years of experience in backend software development, especially with Java & Jakarta
• Experience in Domain Driven Design and BPMN
• Experience in DevOps, especially with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD and automation
• Experience with SAFe or agile working methods
• Frontend knowledge (Angular) is an advantage
• Fluent German in spoken and written form
