Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Planning, architecture, and operation of high-performance enterprise networks in the areas of backbone, LAN, and data centre
Building and further developing modern campus networks as well as ensuring a stable WLAN infrastructure
Administration and optimisation of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks as well as the associated IT and telecommunications environments
Conducting network analyses, troubleshooting, and performance optimisations
Technical leadership and active participation in network projects as well as consulting on infrastructure decisions
Qualifications:
Higher education in computer science, ICT or telecommunications at HF, FH, or comparable level
Several years of experience in the design, administration, and operation of enterprise networks
Very good knowledge in the Cisco environment, ideally with CCNA, CCNP or CCIE
Solid knowledge of WLAN and data centre technologies
Experience with software-defined networking and VMware NSX as well as interest in modern network architectures
