System Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Planning, designing and implementing innovative network solutions according to company requirements
Continuous monitoring, maintenance and performance optimisation to ensure a stable and available network operation
Implementation and maintenance of network security measures such as firewalls, security policies and IDS/IPS
Administration of network devices and systems including configuration management and comprehensive documentation
Analysis and resolution of network faults, user support as well as conducting training and creating technical documentation
Qualifications:
Completed computer science degree or comparable qualification as well as proven experience in operating and maintaining corporate networks
Sound knowledge of network protocols, technologies and standards, especially VPN and WLAN
Experience with network and security solutions from leading manufacturers such as Fortinet and Juniper
Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem solving in complex network environments
Very good German language skills and strong communication abilities
