Role:
A security-critical IT environment requires technical know-how, responsibility, and a consistent focus on stable processes. In this role, you will manage central security platforms, analyse security incidents, and continuously develop the technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Managing security incidents throughout the entire process - from detection and analysis to containment, resolution, and follow-up
Operation, administration, configuration, and quality assurance of security platforms in the areas of firewall, proxy, NDR, XDR, and EDR
Analysis of logs and technical contexts as well as sustainable handling of identified risks
Evaluation and implementation of new security solutions
Technical and conceptual development of the security infrastructure
Collaboration in IT system engineering, especially in monitoring and patch management
Assuming technical responsibility for the managed systems and actively developing existing solutions
Professional exchange and knowledge transfer within the team
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in system engineering as well as practical experience in the cyber security environment
Solid Linux knowledge and experience with security platforms
Experience in incident handling, hardening, logging, and monitoring
Experience with critical infrastructures or regulated environments is an advantage
Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented working style
Willingness to question existing solutions, contribute ideas, and support colleagues professionally
Impeccable reputation and high security awareness
Very good German skills, understanding of Swiss German, and good English skills
