About the job
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused professional to take ownership of a portfolio of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families within a Multi-Family Office in Geneva.
An organisation operating in the Financial Services sector in Genève.
Description
This is a "farmer" position rather than a business development role. The successful candidate will inherit an established book of clients and will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, deepening relationships, coordinating client needs, and ensuring a seamless client experience across all aspects of the family's financial affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of UHNW and HNW clients.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships through proactive and high-quality client coverage.
- Understand each client's overall financial situation, investment portfolio, objectives, and family requirements.
- Conduct regular client meetings and portfolio reviews, providing clear explanations and guidance on portfolio positioning and performance.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of client requests.
- Anticipate client needs and take ownership of resolving issues before they arise.
- Deliver an outstanding level of service and responsiveness at all times.
- Ensure all client matters are followed through to completion with exceptional attention to detail.
- Support clients across a broad range of wealth management, investment, and family office-related topics.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Profile
The ideal candidate combines the relationship skills of a seasoned Relationship Manager with the execution excellence, responsiveness, and attention to detail of a senior private banking assistant.
Profile
- Significant experience within private banking, wealth management, external asset management, or a family office environment.
- Proven track record in client coverage and relationship management.
- May have started their career as a senior assistant, client advisor assistant, or client service professional before transitioning into direct client-facing responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of investment portfolios and wealth management concepts.
- Comfortable discussing portfolio performance and investment allocations with sophisticated clients.
- Highly organized, responsible, and execution-oriented.
- Naturally service-driven, client-centric, and committed to excellence.
- Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Team player with a collaborative and humble approach.
- Entrepreneurial sense of ownership and accountability for client relationships.
- Hebrew speaker strongly preferred.
- Fluent English is mandatory; French is advantageous.
Key Characteristics
The successful candidate will be:
- A relationship builder rather than a salesperson.
- Service-oriented rather than sales-driven.
- Proactive, reliable, and highly accountable.
- Trusted by clients because things get done.
- Able to combine empathy, professionalism, and technical understanding of wealth management solutions.
This role would suit a senior private banking professional who enjoys nurturing relationships, delivering exceptional client service, and acting as the trusted day-to-day advisor for a portfolio of sophisticated clients.
