Role:

A cloud platform is only as strong as its foundation. This is exactly where you come in as an Azure DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer, taking on engineering, operation, and further development of a Microsoft Azure environment. Your field of play ranges from network and identities to the modern workplace. With Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you bring structure to recurring processes. In the end, what counts is an environment that runs reliably, securely, and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities:

• You plan compute, storage, virtual networks, and network security groups (NSG) and build these Azure resources cleanly.

• For the modern workplace, you operate Microsoft Intune, Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

• Additionally, you maintain Microsoft Entra ID with enterprise applications, app registrations, and roles, as well as the technical implementation of identity and security requirements.

• You automate operational processes with PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code, manage the Windows Server platform, and keep backup and recovery solutions up to date.

• Furthermore, you create transparency with monitoring, logging, and alerting and track disruptions across network, identity, and server to the root cause.

• You also drive migrations, changes, and lifecycle topics forward and optimise existing resources for cost, security, and performance.

Qualifications:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in engineering Azure cloud and Windows environments.

• You are confident in the IaaS and PaaS environment, from virtual machines to storage to private networking.

• You understand hybrid networks with VPN, routing, DNS, and firewalls and are well versed in Windows Server and Microsoft client infrastructures.

• Experience with Entra ID, RBAC, and the modern workplace around Intune, Windows 365, and AVD distinguishes you.

• You script proficiently in PowerShell and ideally implement IaC with Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.

• Additionally, you know Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, backup, and business continuity, analyse error patterns thoroughly, and communicate fluently in German and effortlessly in English.
