Lead Developer VoIP Software (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF80,000 - 110,000Role:
In this role, you take on the technical leadership responsibility for the development and further development of powerful VoIP software solutions. You are responsible for the design and implementation of robust, scalable architectures and ensure that high quality and security standards are met. You make key technology decisions, optimise existing components, and ensure the sustainable further development of the software landscape. You analyse complex requirements, develop clear technical specifications from them, and accompany the entire development cycle from idea to productive deployment. With your professional experience background, you set modern development standards, establish efficient processes, and contribute significantly to actively shaping the future of VoIP solutions.
Responsibilities:
- You develop complex, modern VoIP software solutions and adapt them to professional requirements
- In this role, you create technical specifications together with the team and implement them into viable implementations
- You take on technical leadership in subprojects, plan and coordinate activities, and actively support implementation
- As Lead Developer VoIP Software, you advise on architecture, technology questions, and best practices and coach less experienced team members
- You continuously optimise performance, maintainability, as well as deployment and testing processes (CI/CD) and initiate appropriate improvement measures
- In this role, you familiarise yourself with new topics, conduct pilot projects, and ensure meaningful and up-to-date documentation
Qualifications:
- You have a completed degree (HF, FH or equivalent) in computer science and bring 4-6 years of experience in the development and architecture of web-based services.
- You have solid know-how in Java with Spring Boot and ideally in other languages such as PHP, LUA or C as well as in modern web technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML5).
- You are very familiar with RESTful web services, software security (SSL/HTTPS, JWT, encryption) and database modelling in SQL and NoSQL systems (e.g. mySQL, MongoDB).
- You have experience with VoIP/SIP environments and relevant platforms such as Kamailio, OpenSIPS, Asterisk or FreeSWITCH.
- You are skilled in working with Linux/RHEL, shell scripting, Git, web and application servers as well as CI/CD pipelines and associated automation tools.
- You enjoy working in international projects with external collaborators and actively contribute your own innovative ideas to the further development of solutions.
