Banking Applications Manager - Market Operations Domain
Your main tasks:
- Ensure the operational and functional responsibility of several applications.
- Be the primary contact for Front-Office, Back Office, Accounting users and external suppliers for all questions related to the applications under your responsibility.
- Guarantee the availability, stability and performance of the applications by ensuring daily production monitoring, incident management and coordination of corrective actions.
- Manage the functional evolutions of the applications: gathering and analysing requirements, writing specifications, coordinating developments, organising tests and supporting change management.
- Coordinate production deployments, application releases and relationships with publishers and external data providers.
- Identify, analyse and reduce operational risks by implementing controls, monitoring mechanisms and automation solutions.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by simplifying manual activities and proposing high value-added optimisations.
- Ensure documentation, application governance and support during internal and external audits.
Your profile:
- University degree, HES or equivalent in finance, business informatics or a similar field.
- Experience in a role as Application Owner, Application Manager or Application Support within a banking institution, trading floor or financial solutions publisher.
- Good knowledge of financial products and Front-to-Back processes.
- Strong skills in functional analysis, specification writing, test management and change management.
- Proven ability to analyse complex incidents, coordinate multiple stakeholders and ensure service continuity of critical applications.
- Continuous improvement mindset, autonomy, sense of responsibility and internal customer orientation.
- Excellent communication skills enabling interaction with business and technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in French and good professional English level (minimum B2); German is an advantage.
- Swiss resident or willingness to settle permanently in Switzerland.
