Responsibilities:
Maintenance, servicing and continuous optimisation of the local IT infrastructure in coordination with the internal engineering team.
Automation of Windows server deployments and software installations.
Management and monitoring of backup systems to ensure data integrity (e.g. Veeam).
Improvement of configuration management for Windows servers using modern management tools such as SaltStack.
Technical support for server role configurations as well as for the integration of external applications.
Active participation in operational activities to provide a stable, reliable and secure IT service.
Qualifications:
Completed IT training at EFZ, HF or FH level or a comparable qualification.
Experience in supporting and administering complex hybrid IT environments, especially in the areas of virtualisation, networking and storage.
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, including configuration of roles and features.
Confident handling of automation and scripting, especially using PowerShell.
Basic knowledge of Linux systems, including Bash and Python scripting, is an advantage.
Knowledge of data centre operations, including VLAN, DNS, firewalls and network structures.
Understanding of identity and access management, especially Active Directory, Entra ID and basic Azure functions, is advantageous.
Experience with agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe is desirable.
Very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
