Role:

Platform and workplace are inseparable for you. As a Microsoft Cloud Engineer, you migrate infrastructures from on-premises to Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365). You deliberately restructure grown environments and create standardised and secure solutions from them. You prefer to leave recurring processes to code, smart automation, and AI.

Responsibilities:

• You plan and implement transition and migration projects to the Microsoft cloud from conception to completion.

• You further develop existing Azure environments, optimise platform services, and ensure uniform standards through refactorings.

• Reusable Bicep templates, PowerShell scripts, and standardised deployments form your toolbox for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• In addition, you manage identities and access with Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and app registrations and implement governance requirements.

• You operate Intune with configuration profiles, compliance policies, and endpoint security and further develop the modern workplace.

• Furthermore, you design VNets, subnets, and routing, collaborate with the network team on integrations with Fortinet, and resolve complex cross-system issues.

Qualifications:

• You bring several years of experience in the Microsoft cloud environment, at least 3 years, ideally including migrations from classic data centres.

• You know the platform's compute, networking, identity, and security in detail.

• You confidently implement automation with IaC approaches and PowerShell.

• Additionally, you have solid networking knowledge from DNS through VPN to hybrid connections, preferably complemented by firewall experience.

• You understand access models such as RBAC as well as security and governance concepts and are confident in endpoint management.

• Moreover, you communicate clearly in German, read English technical documentation effortlessly, and Microsoft certifications complete your profile.
