Industry Sector Manager 80-100%

What you will drive
Driven by the values of trade unionism, you lead and support a team of five people and actively contribute to the regional management. You develop trade union presence in companies, recruit new members and strengthen activist networks. You lead negotiations as well as various projects and campaigns. You support collective disputes, ensure compliance with collective labour agreements and represent Unia within joint committees or staff committees.

What you bring

• Higher education or equivalent training, ideally complemented by management training
• Experience in the trade union field, in team and campaign management
• Very good knowledge of the Vaud economic fabric and good knowledge of the industrial sector
• Excellent organisational skills, priority management, communication and management
• Driving licence
• Committed and rigorous personality with a good spirit of initiative and ability to make proposals
• Excellent knowledge of French and ease in writing
