Announcement

The BCV General Secretariat provides operational and organisational support to the Executive Management. It facilitates coordination between the various internal entities and the Management, ensuring rigorous, confidential and efficient management of information and decisions of the Executive Management.

Following the announcement of the current holder's retirement, we are looking for a:

Head of the BCV General Secretariat

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure the management and coordination of the weekly Executive Management meetings: preparation of meetings, organisation, drafting of minutes, transmission of decisions, document retention
• Guarantee a smooth and structured relationship between the Executive Management and the Bank's departments, as well as with subsidiaries
• Be the internal point of contact for FINMA, the Ombudsman and the banking umbrella organisations; coordinate the professional relationship
• Supervise the Executive Management Secretariat team: human resources, organisation, communication and data security in particular
• Assist the CEO with occasional tasks, ensure follow-up of specific files
• Act as deputy to the Secretary of the Board of Directors in their absence

Your profile

• Master’s level university education in Economics, Law or any other field related to the role
• Professional experience in the Swiss banking or financial sector in a similar role and/or as a Project Manager, Project Management Officer (PMO) or administrative manager
• Analytical mind, great administrative rigour
• Interpersonal skills, diplomacy and discretion
• Fluency in French (spoken and written), excellent writing skills
• Very good knowledge of German and English desired, Italian an asset
