Product Management and Business Analysis (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 135,000Role:
In this role, you combine product responsibility and business analysis by quickly understanding complex technical and professional contexts and translating them into clear, development-ready specifications. You are responsible for the product roadmap, prioritise the backlog in close coordination with stakeholders, and use product data and performance metrics to steer continuous development. You translate business requirements into precise user stories, model and optimise end-to-end business processes, and create binding business concepts, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria. Additionally, you moderate the exchange between departments, development, and external partners, lead requirements workshops, and accompany tests and approvals up to go-live. In doing so, you identify process and system weaknesses and proactively develop solution-oriented improvements.
Responsibilities:
- You take responsibility for the product roadmap and prioritise the backlog in close coordination with stakeholders and other product owners.
- In this role, you translate business requirements into clear user stories, technical specifications, and precise business concepts with unambiguous acceptance criteria.
- As a specialist in product management and business analysis, you gather, analyse, and document technical and professional requirements including interfaces and system dependencies.
- You model and optimise end-to-end business processes (e.g. in BPMN) focusing on efficiency, quality, and technical feasibility.
- In this role, you moderate collaboration between departments, the development team, and external partners and conduct requirements workshops, process analyses, and coordination meetings.
- You accompany UAT, test and approve new functionalities, identify process and system weaknesses, and proactively develop solution proposals up to go-live.
Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable education.
- Several years of experience as a product owner and/or business analyst, ideally in software development, characterise your professional background.
- You have practical experience with the development of web applications, databases, distributed systems, and at least one programming language, ideally PHP.
- You are familiar with agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as tools like GitLab, Jira, or Confluence, including working in Scrum teams.
- You are skilled in requirements workshops, moderating interdisciplinary teams, and process modelling and optimisation (e.g. with BPMN).
- Analytical thinking, high social competence, communication skills, personal responsibility, and an agile mindset complete your profile; you naturally use good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
