Responsibilities:
- Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual consolidation reports to ensure transparent financial reporting.
- Responsibility for compliance with IFRS and OR requirements in the preparation of consolidated financial statements to meet legal requirements.
- Identification and implementation of improvements in consolidation processes to optimise efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordination of collaboration with various departments and subsidiaries to ensure smooth information flow.
- Review and validation of financial data of all relevant entities to ensure the integrity of reporting.
- Support in the preparation of annual audit reviews to enable smooth execution.
- Participation in the development of financial strategies and models to support corporate objectives.
- Training of new employees in consolidation and reporting to promote their integration and onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting (university of applied sciences degree in accounting or equivalent qualification).
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting with a focus on consolidation.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and OR and their application in consolidation to comply with international standards.
- Experience in using consolidation software (e.g. CCH Tagetik, Oracle) to ensure efficient consolidation processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit to foster positive collaboration.
- Independent and structured working style with a high sense of responsibility to reliably achieve goals.
- Fluent knowledge of German and English for international communication.
