Wood Draftsman CFC (M/F/D)

Do you have an eye for detail, excellent spatial vision, and is timber construction your true passion? We are actively seeking a qualified wood structure draftsman to join the dynamic team of our partner in the Lausanne region.

Your playground:

• Design and modelling: You create execution plans and 2D/3D modelling for varied and complex timber construction projects (roof trusses, timber frames, post-beam structures).

• Technical collaboration: You work closely in pairs with timber structure engineers to bring concepts to life and adapt design details.

• Detail studies: You prepare assembly plans, parts lists to order, and technical files necessary for workshop fabrication.

• Project follow-up: You participate in study meetings and incorporate requested technical or regulatory changes.

• Training: You hold a CFC as a wood construction draftsman, joiner, carpenter, or an equivalent qualification (wood technician).

• Software proficiency: You have excellent command of Cadwork software (2D and 3D), essential for this position.

• Technical skills: You possess solid knowledge of timber construction systems (CLT, glued laminated timber, traditional carpentry) and can accurately read complex plans.

• Soft skills: You are rigorous, methodical, autonomous, and have an excellent team spirit as well as good stress resistance.

• Mobility: You hold a valid driving licence.
