The position is primarily focused on the manufacturing, machining and finishing of sapphire cases and crystals.

Your main responsibilities

• Polishing and machining of sapphire cases and crystals
• Bonding sapphire crystals onto ceramic cases
• Quality control of ceramic and sapphire components
• Ensuring compliance with production requirements, quality standards and deadlines
• Maintenance and upkeep of machines, tools and production equipment
• Participation in optimising production processes
• Involvement in the development of new products and the creation of prototypes
• Taking on other tasks within the company as required

Your profile

• You have a technical education or several years of experience in machining sapphire, ceramic or comparable high-performance materials
• Good technical knowledge in grinding, polishing or precision machining
• Experience in handling sapphire, ceramic or similar materials
• A keen sense of quality and great precision in your work
• A trained eye to detect the smallest details and irregularities
• Creativity and interest in developing new case shapes and new types of finishes
• Passion for mechanics and interest in technical aspects
• Independent, structured and responsible working method
• Good communication skills in German and/or French
