Role:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for technical planning and client advisory in building construction with a focus on building envelope, insulation and sealing. You identify relevant construction projects already in early project phases and advise clients, investors, architectural firms, planners as well as general and total contractors in developing technically and economically convincing system solutions. In doing so, you combine sound construction knowledge with project development, tender support and technical consulting and coordinate internal specialists if required. The role offers a wide scope for design within an established company in the Swiss construction industry and covers a broad sales region in Eastern Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Systematic identification and development of building construction projects already during concept, preliminary and planning phases

• Technical consulting of clients, investors, architects, specialist planners as well as general and total contractors

• Development of holistic system solutions for building envelope, thermal insulation and sealing considering technical, economic and sustainable requirements

• Analysis of project documents and identification of potentials across various components and trades

• Support of tenders and submissions as well as assistance in the planning specification of suitable system solutions

• Building and maintaining a professional network with decision-makers, planning offices, clients and real estate stakeholders

• Coordination of internal product specialists and technical experts to develop project-specific overall solutions

• Monitoring regional construction projects, project developments and market potentials as well as structured processing of relevant project opportunities

• Presentation of technical solutions at specialist events, customer events, training sessions and roadshows

• Documentation and tracking of projects in the CRM as well as coordination of project development until handover to the responsible sales organisation

• Ensuring structured project and stakeholder management throughout the various planning and decision phases

Qualifications:

• Higher education in construction, for example Architecture FH/ETH, Civil Engineering FH/ETH, Technician HF Construction Planning or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in building construction, technical construction consulting, planning or project development

• Sound knowledge of Swiss construction processes, tenders and project workflows

• Expertise in the area of building envelope, insulation, sealing or building physics system solutions is an advantage

• Experience working with clients, investors, architects, planners as well as general and total contractors

• Good knowledge of CRM systems and digital planning/project documents

• Very good German skills; French or Italian skills are an advantage
