Aesthetic Inspector (M/F)

We are looking for a meticulous and rigorous individual to ensure the aesthetic inspection of watch components, including dials, appliqués, and other decorative parts.
Excellent visual acuity, precision, and a keen eye for detail are essential for this role.

Desired profile:

• Proven experience in aesthetic inspection within the watchmaking or microtechnology environment.
• Good knowledge of aesthetic requirements related to watch components and surface finishes.
• Excellent visual acuity and ability to detect very small defects.
• Comfortable using a loupe, binocular microscope, or inspection microscope.
• Great meticulousness, patience, and concentration in performing inspections.
• Rigorous, reliable, organised person who respects quality procedures.
• Good team spirit and ability to clearly communicate observed non-conformities.
• Sense of quality and detail, with a methodical and consistent approach.

• Carry out detailed aesthetic inspection of watch components such as dials, appliqués, and decorative parts.
• Check the appearance of parts using appropriate inspection tools: loupe, binocular microscope, microscope, or specific lighting.
• Identify appearance defects: scratches, impacts, stains, dust, surface defects, treatment defects, colour or marking defects.
• Verify parts conformity according to quality criteria, inspection procedures, and reference samples.
• Perform sorting operations, isolate non-conforming parts, and ensure their identification.
• Complete inspection documents and ensure traceability of inspections performed.
• Report observed anomalies and collaborate with production and quality departments in a continuous improvement approach.
