Responsibility for the operation, support and further development of complex on-premises and hybrid infrastructures in various customer environments
Administration and optimisation of Windows server environments including Active Directory, DNS, file services and application servers
Design, implementation and maintenance of modern virtualisation and backup solutions with VMware, Proxmox and Veeam
Planning and realisation of IT infrastructure projects as well as coordination of technical implementation and involved stakeholders
Conducting system analyses, performance optimisations and technical consultations for the sustainable development of existing IT infrastructures
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in system engineering, ideally in an IT service, consulting or managed services environment
Sound knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and administration of complex IT infrastructures
Very good practical experience with VMware, Proxmox, Veeam and other technologies in the field of virtualisation and backup
Experience in customer support, technical project implementation and independent management of infrastructure projects
High personal responsibility, analytical and solution-oriented working style as well as knowledge in automation, Microsoft 365 and Azure as an additional advantage
