Reporting directly to the director of Energie Durable SA, you will be involved in projects from start to finish, from identifying opportunities to commissioning and handover to the operations teams. A true project entrepreneur, you actively contribute to the company’s growth and the development of efficient energy solutions in French-speaking Switzerland.
Tasks/Responsibilities
Identify opportunities: analyse energy consumption, client needs and technical constraints, assess economic and energy potential, develop a network of partners, local authorities and engineering offices, and ensure regulatory and technological monitoring
Conduct technical, economic, environmental and regulatory feasibility studies and define the most relevant energy concepts (district heating, wood energy, heat pumps, photovoltaics, energy recovery, etc.)
Develop preliminary sizing, estimate investments (CAPEX), operating costs (OPEX) and analyse project profitability
Set up projects: build economic models and business plans, determine financing methods, manage risks and prepare decision-making files for management and the board of directors
Coordinate obtaining administrative and regulatory authorisations and participate in negotiating and drafting contracts with clients, suppliers and partners
Manage implementation: calls for tenders, selection and coordination of engineering offices and subcontractors, site management, cost, quality, risk and deadline management
Organise and supervise commissioning of installations, validate technical and energy performance, ensure compliance and support operators during handover
Profile
HES engineer diploma, EPFL or equivalent university degree with specialisation in the energy field
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in the development, setup and implementation of energy projects, with proven experience in managing complex projects in Switzerland
Mastery of financing and profitability mechanisms as well as financial and contractual management of energy projects
Good knowledge of the Swiss regulatory context and an established professional network in French-speaking Switzerland
Excellent negotiation, representation and multidisciplinary project management skills
Fluent French, B2 English; German is a plus
Entrepreneurial, autonomous and responsible profile, results-oriented, comfortable in a family SME, agile and collaborative
