Project Manager Electrical Engineering (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for project management in electrical engineering and technical client representation in a complex building and infrastructure environment. You will handle interdisciplinary construction and technical projects from the preliminary study through planning and realisation to commissioning and take on overall or partial project responsibility. As the technical representative of the client, you coordinate internal operational areas, specialist planners and other project participants and contribute to feasibility studies, energy supply and technical concepts. Furthermore, you actively shape strategic topics such as digitalisation, technical building infrastructure and future supply concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Management and handling of electrical, technical and construction projects as overall or partial project manager across all relevant project phases

• Assuming the role of technical client representative in complex new build, conversion and extension projects

• Development of feasibility studies, variant analyses and project bases for operational repurposing and extensions

• Preparation of technical bases for investment and budget applications as well as support in cost and resource planning

• Coordination of interfaces between electrical engineering, building technology, architecture, operations and other disciplines

• Management and technical supervision of external electrical planners, specialist planners and executing companies

• Ensuring costs, deadlines, quality and technical requirements within the projects for which you are responsible

• Support during tendering, awarding, execution, acceptance and commissioning of technical systems

• Ensuring compliance with relevant NIV, NIN and SIA regulations as well as project-specific safety and quality requirements

• Development and evaluation of concepts for power supply, energy distribution, emergency power and technical building infrastructure

• Participation in overarching strategies and concepts for digitalisation, energy supply and technical coordination

• Ensuring coordination between operational requirements and construction projects, especially during conversions under ongoing operations

Qualifications:

• Completed basic training as electrical installer EFZ or electrical planner EFZ with technical further education

• Further education at HF/FH level, federal specialist certificate or comparable qualification in electrical engineering/building technology

• Several years of experience as project manager or deputy project manager in technical construction and electrical projects

• Experience with complex building infrastructure and conversion projects, ideally in hospital construction or a similarly demanding operational environment

• Sound knowledge in electrical planning, energy supply and technical project coordination

• Knowledge of relevant NIV, NIN and SIA regulations

• Very good German language skills spoken and written
